Terms of service

These terms govern your use of WriteSharp. Using the service means you agree to them. Read them once; they are short on purpose.

The service

WriteSharp is a writing assistant. We provide suggestions, rewrites, and editor features. We do not guarantee that every suggestion is correct; you are the editor of your own work.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• One person per account. Sharing a single login across a team violates these terms.
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure. We are not liable for misuse of an account you lost control of.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or invades someone else's privacy.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise abuse the API beyond the published rate limits.
• Resell access without a written agreement with us.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that materially violate these terms, with refund for any unused paid period.

Your content

You own everything you write. WriteSharp receives a narrow license to process your text in order to produce suggestions and store your documents. We do not use your text to train models.

Billing

• Free tier: 5,000 words per month of AI-assisted suggestions.
• Pro: $10 per month or $96 per year (20% off). Cancel any time. Pro auto-renews unless you cancel before the next renewal.
• Team: $8 per seat per month, minimum 5 seats. Subject to a separate order form for larger teams.
• Refunds: we issue a prorated refund if you cancel within seven days of any paid renewal.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not promise zero downtime. Planned maintenance is announced in advance when possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can stop using WriteSharp at any time by deleting your account. We can terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WriteSharp is incorporated. Disputes go to the courts of that jurisdiction.
